Nike x 4T Trail
Designing a shoe manufactured by Nike, in collaboration with the 4T Trail, located in Portland, Oregon.
The green color-way is inspired by the natural elements of the trail, and the added features, such as the large, textured sole, and two magnetic straps, provide extra stability.
Though not advised to run on the trail at night, there is a reflective fluid located in a capsule on the rear of the shoe, so cars and other people can see you.

I created two product posters to in the brand language of Nike, and chose the green color palette to match the forest aesthetic of the trail.
The posters posters have a toned background to hint once more at the outdoor use of the shoes, and the background elements and callout draw the eye to the most important elements of the shoes.

A closeup side view of the shoe highlights the thick rear sole of the shoe, perfect for hiking, but curved enough to also be good for running or walking. The 4T logo is seen on the back heel below the Nike Trails logo, and the bright green capsule is great for nighttime running or hiking, as it is reflective and glows in the dark.

Taking a closer look at the front of the shoe, there is a no-tie design for the laces, opting for an elastic cord that makes putting them on easy and snug.
The two magnetic straps allow for further tightening for more intense use, which provide a more secure it while allowing for a wide range of customization, making the 4T Trailblazers the perfect fit for anyone.
Zenolith Sink
Designing a sink to be featured in the MoMa Design Store, created a sink which meshes calm Zen aesthetics with more rigid industrial forms. Inspired by Japanese paintings with mountains and nature, the basic form of the sink resembles a bonsai tree growing out of the stone.
The sink basin itself features a floating design of a sand garden, with the sand serving as the drain, and the rocks being the knobs to turn on the flow of water.

A backlit view highlights the harsh contours with of the stone, and accentuates the sink basin almost growing out of it.
I wanted to make the sink a mix of industrial materials and forms, but with a message and feeling rooted in Zen aesthetics.
A closer look into the Bonsai shape of the faucet, I designed it to have a matte appearance, potentially made from metal piping, with a soft touch hard rubber exterior. The water fills up the most forward three "leaves", and spills out in a waterfall motion to provide a calming hand washing experience.

MIO Culture Birdhouse
This birdhouse had two main purposes, primarily to design a home specifically for an Elf Owl, and secondly to incorporate the design language of MIO Culture. The main body is rendered to appear as steam pressed felt for the green pattern, with the panels underneath being crafted out of cork.

An important part of this project was to master lighting and in creating a visual that appeared real. I experimented with duplication and key lights in this project to create some "professional shots". As seen on the right, I rendered the background branch with the birdhouse in Keyshot, and added the bird later in Photoshop.
An in context image displays the elf owl returning to the birdhouse after a long day of hunting. On the right, the exploded view highlights the modular design, and each individual part of the home.

CW&T Dog Console
One of my first rendering projects, I was tasked with creating a dog related product with the design language of CW&T. Using their products, such as their famous tape dispenser, jump rope, and their box cutter, I reimagined the contours and materials to create an all in one dog wall console.
The console features rubber frisbees, a tug of war rope, and a collapsible water bottle, perfect for any outdoor loving dog, and modern product-loving owners.
